Three things to look out for on this calendar.
Everything on this page falls into one of three categories. Here's how to tell them apart.
These events have a date, time and venue. RSVP to secure your spot.
These events are being planned with your help. Register Interest to tell us when you're available.
Recurring dates we build our campaigns around. No RSVP needed — just an anchor for the year.
Events are better when everyone has a say.
This applies to Planning Phase events. Awareness Days are recurring and already fixed on the calendar, so there's nothing to register interest in — just note the date.
Built by the community, for the community
Every event starts with a conversation. When we're considering an event, we put it into Planning Phase — not because we're unsure, but because we want your input before we lock anything in. Your interest and availability help us make decisions that actually work for the people who show up.
Your input shapes the outcome
When you register interest, you're not just saying "I might come." You're telling us when you're available, so we can aggregate the data and pick the date and time that works for the most people. This means we approach speakers and book venues with confidence — and we don't waste anyone's time on an event no one can attend.
No commitment, just input
Registering interest doesn't commit you to anything. It's simply a way to make your voice heard during the planning process. Once an event is confirmed, we'll notify you and invite you to RSVP — and you can decide then if you're able to attend. No pressure, no strings.
It's okay to change your mind
Availability changes. That's normal. You can update your interest at any time — we always keep your latest response. And if you register interest but later can't make it, just skip the RSVP when the event is confirmed. No explanation needed.
You help decide the date → We confirm the event → You RSVP to attend

Still have questions about how this works?
What's the difference between an event and an Awareness Day?
Events are gatherings we organise, with a date, time and venue you RSVP to. Awareness Days are recurring dates in the calendar year that our campaigns and outreach are built around — there's nothing to register or RSVP for, they're simply there so the full rhythm of the year is visible in one place.
What does "Planning Phase" mean?
It means we're working on making this event happen, but the date and time aren't finalised yet. We're using your input to choose a time that works for the most people.
What happens when I "Register Interest"?
You're letting us know you'd like to attend, and telling us when you're available. Your input is aggregated with others to help us pick the best date. No commitment required — you can always RSVP later when the event is confirmed.
Will I be notified when the event is confirmed?
Yes! Everyone who registers interest will receive an email notification when the event is confirmed, with the final date, time, and a link to RSVP.
Am I committing to attend by registering interest?
Not at all. Registering interest is just that — interest. There's no commitment. Once the event is confirmed, you'll be invited to RSVP properly, and you can decide then.
Can I change my availability after submitting?
Yes. You can submit a new interest with updated availability at any time — we'll keep your latest response.
What if I register interest but later can't attend?
That's completely fine. When the event is confirmed, simply skip the RSVP. No explanation needed — we understand that life happens.
